I’m a software engineer based in Palm Springs, where I live with my husband. I grew up in Western Connecticut and spent time in Rochester NY, San Diego CA, and 15 years in Denver CO before the desert pulled me back west.
By day I work on frontend systems at Twilio. After hours I build and maintain web platforms for two LGBTQ+ clubs I care about: the Satyrs Motorcycle Club, founded in 1954 as the first gay motorcycle club in the United States, and the 4-Players of Colorado, an off-road club founded in 1986 that I served for nearly a decade as President, Vice President, and website manager.
Before tech, I was an EMT, paramedic, and firefighter through high school and college, serving on private, volunteer, and college agencies in Connecticut and upstate New York. I’m an Eagle Scout, and that’s still one of the accomplishments I’m proudest of.
When I’m not at a keyboard, I read, travel, hike (when the desert allows it), and work through a list of national parks. I hold an amateur radio license (KE0YLE) and a motorcycle endorsement, and I’ve returned to the bass guitar after a long break.
